Hi,
Iwork in the equipment maintenance shop in Rock Springs,WY. The Mayor of our city has asked us to restore our old 1948 Maxim pumper s/n 1662 I think it has a Hercules engine #HXC 347595. It has been in storage for 24 years and the engine will not turn at this time,I'm hoping to get some information on the truck & engine.
Thanks,
Randy McJunkin |

Uncle Howie,
I like the site....now that it is working. Can't wait to come visit all of you soon and take a ride on the fire trucks.

Thanks, Howie, for your continued efforts to preserve this part of American history. 'tis nice to see this part restored. You're right in your comments about it being an excellent resourse. :)
